Professional Bio
Before I founded The Coach Dee, I spent thirty-eight years in federal government, including fifteen as an executive-level attorney in the Senior Executive Service, working in rooms where pressure was constant and the consequences were real.
I served as Counsel to a presidentially appointed, Senate-confirmed Inspector General, advising at the intersection of oversight, risk, compliance, investigations, and institutional accountability. I also led one of the four largest HHS regional legal offices, spanning five states, including Texas, advising on regulatory scrutiny, complex litigation, high-dollar enforcement matters, and decisions with national significance.
That work made one truth unmistakable: in high-stakes rooms, leaders are not judged on credentials alone. They are judged on judgment, steadiness, communication, and how they perform when trust is not automatic. Today, I bring that perspective to founders and CEOs who need a disciplined way to lead when it counts most.
